Delete Your Respiratory Edge Account

You can request permanent deletion through the app or by contacting Medical Education Dynamics LLC. You do not need to reinstall the app to use the email option.

Delete through the app

1. Sign in to the Respiratory Edge account you want to delete.
2. Open Menu, then Your Profile.
3. Select Delete account in the account section.
4. Enter your account email and password again, then select Delete permanently.
5. Wait for the completion message. If the app says deletion was not confirmed, or the process is interrupted, sign in and retry to confirm completion.

Required private voice-file cleanup and removal of synchronized study records must complete before the app reports account deletion as complete. Some cloud cleanup may already have happened even if a later step fails. Closing the confirmation screen does not undo cleanup that has started.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@medicaleducationdynamics.com from the address used for your Respiratory Edge account. Use the subject Respiratory Edge account deletion and state that you want the account and associated app data permanently deleted.

What account deletion removes

The app's deletion process removes its required private temporary voice files, synchronized study collections and Firebase sign-in account. Synchronized collections can include saved notes, formatting, highlights, progress and reading positions. When cloud-account deletion is available, the app requires confirmation of account-related receipt cleanup before deleting the sign-in identity, even if this build disables checkout. A failed or unconfirmed receipt cleanup is not reported as successful account deletion.

A minimal coded deletion marker can remain to prevent delayed requests from restoring erased records. It is separate from study content; receipt-deletion markers do not contain receipt tokens or order details.

Data managed separately

Account deletion preserves this device's local notes. Use Delete all local data in the app's privacy/data controls to erase local app data separately. Removing local data does not delete cloud copies or the sign-in account.

Account deletion does not erase exported files, external backups, another device's local copies, or records independently retained by service providers. Storefront purchase history is managed by Google Play or the applicable storefront. Account deletion does not cancel or refund purchases.

Operational or security records may be retained when needed for service protection, fraud prevention, legal obligations or dispute resolution. Provider retention and deletion depend on their applicable terms and account controls. We do not promise removal from every third party.
